Jim Lefcakis didn't start in technology. He started in emergency services — a paramedic who became the go-to IT person for his dispatch center and the neighboring police station. That instinct to fix problems under pressure, take ownership, and never leave an issue unresolved became the foundation of LEFCON.
In 2000, a connection at the Westin Pittsburgh introduced Jim to the hotel industry. What started as consulting work for a handful of hotels grew — slowly, deliberately — into a 24/7 operation supporting more than 450 properties nationwide. Every decision along the way reflected the same philosophy Jim brought from emergency services: pick up the phone, own the problem, don't stop until it's fixed.
